Your gums are checked for bleeding, pocketing, and recession. This is extremely important since periodontal disease affects about 80% of the adult population. Leigh T. Meyer, DMD
Dr. Leigh Meyer is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry. She completed her two-year general practice residency at the University Of Connecticut School Of Dentistry where she received the Outstanding Resident of the Year Award in 1992. She stays updated on the changing technology in her field by attending frequent, periodic continuing education programs. She has practiced in Naples since 1992 and is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
